Abstract

This article analyses the dynamics of railway traffic safety violations on the network of JSC “Uzbekistan Railways” from 2016 to 2025. A total of 356 violations were recorded during the ten-year period, with a persistently elevated level observed from 2023 onwards. The main technical causes were associated with track geometry deviations, turnout defects, deteriorated sleepers, and inadequate infrastructure maintenance. The study substantiates the need for digital recording and risk-based assessment of railway track condition.
