1-8 STUDYING THE STRUCTURE FORMATION PROCESS OF FINE-GRAINED CONCRETE WITH OPTIMAL STRUCTURE
Abstract
This article examines the process of structure formation in fine-grained concrete with an optimized structure. An analysis was conducted of the influence of the particle size distribution of sand on the formation of the cement stone structure and the cement–aggregate interfacial transition zone. Particular attention was paid to comparative experimental studies of concrete mixtures based on sands with different grain size compositions. It was established that the rational selection of the granulometric composition of fine aggregate improves particle packing density, reduces porosity, and enhances the strength characteristics of concrete. The obtained results can be used in the design of fine-grained concrete mixtures with improved performance properties.
