1-3 FORMATION OF A HORIZONTAL CONTROL NETWORK AT COORDINATE ZONE BOUNDARIES IN HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AND ANALYSIS OF EXISTING METHODOLOGIES
Abstract
This article investigates the problems of correctly forming a geodetic horizontal control network at the boundaries of Gauss–Krüger coordinate zones during the design and construction of highways. Linear deformations occurring at zone boundaries due to the long extent of linear engineering structures and the existing methodologies for eliminating such deformations are analyzed. Scientific works of local researchers, including M.M. Ergashev and A.N. Inamov, devoted to this topic were studied. Based on the analysis, recommendations were developed for optimizing the horizontal control network using modern digital technologies such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS).
Keywords: highway, horizontal control network, Gauss–Krüger projection, linear distortion, geodetic reduction, GIS, local coordinate system, Credo_DAT, digital model.
