Abstract

This article examines the operational characteristics of Pandrol Fastclip rail fastening systems on continuous welded rail (CWR) sections of JSC “Uzbekiston Temir Yullari”. The study analyzes the design features of the fastening system, its influence on track stability, reduction of dynamic loads, and improvement of railway superstructure reliability. Special attention is paid to the performance of elastic fastening elements under high-temperature conditions typical for the climate of Uzbekistan. The advantages of the Fastclip system compared to traditional rail fastening systems are discussed. The article also identifies the main defects occurring during operation and provides recommendations for improving the efficiency of railway track maintenance.

Keywords: continuous welded rail, rail fastening systems, Pandrol Fastclip, railway track, track elasticity, JSC “Uzbekiston Temir Yullari”, railway superstructure, thermal stresses.
